Review: Red vs. Blue “What’s Yours is Ours”

Well, this week, Rooster Teeth brought us the shortest episode of the season so far. However, the writing brought up pretty far, because there’s going to be an expedition to the floating tower Charon is trying to reactivate. However, the fun is about to start, because the resident expert in alien technology is now on the case. No, it isn’t Tucker and his sword, it’s Doctor Emily Grey. Shit is going to get seriously messed up. You can tell with the minute she was on screen, that she is going to compound Grif, Sarge and Simmons’s normal brand of insanity with her flightiness.

The focus is almost entirely on getting people to the tower so Charon Industries doesn’t get there. With Carolina and Church at the base, and the Reds going to the tower with Doctor Grey. The set up is there for chaos, but not much else this week. I think it’s the price of having a short episode. All of the basic plot points were mentioned, not a lot was actually done with it. The jokes were definitely on point, especially when they played on Grey’s obsession with alien technology, and Cabooses giddiness with getting out of the base. Hopefully, we get some more of the expansive plot that’s just begging to be explored.
