Review: Fish Hooks ‘Labor of Love’

Mr. Baldwin is pregnant and after a quick snoop session, his class discovers a ring in his desk. When the class realizes that he has plans of proposing to Ms. Lips, they come up with a plan of their own – to take a field trip to Flip Flop Island, Ms. Lip’s tropical get-a-way. But while Mr. Baldwin is searching for Ms. Fish, three class members decide to go rogue and look for buried treasure.

The turning point of the episode came when Mr. Baldwin and Ms. Lips were atop a beautiful pyramid. While being fed lines by his students, he accidentally offends Ms. Lips and her catfish, causing Ms. Lips to storm off.

No fear everyone, the balance is restored after a Fish Hook variation of “Sail Away” that quickly made Ms. Lip’s heart grow fonder of Mr. Baldwin before giving birth all over a restaurant’s floor. The 100+ seahorse babies were delivered by a giant Sphinx cat voiced by none other than the late, great, Michael Clarke Duncan. The Green Mile star’s voice calmed the crowd and soothed Mr. Baldwin into a relaxing birth.
