Review: Bunsen is a Beast “Boodle Loo; The Boy Who Cried Wolfie”
Boys don’t cry.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Boodle Loo;
Amanda comes up with a plan to lure Bunsen’s invisible dog away from his house, but her plan backfires when the dog mistakes her for one of his toys. This causes a big chase to ensue all over town until Bunsen is able to get the dog’s attention with a different toy.
The Boy Who Cried Wolfie
Bunsen’s friend Wolfie is in from out of town and the little monster is hoping that his pal will become good friends with Mikey. Unfortunately, Wolfie wants nothing more than to eat Mikey which Bunsen has to try and fix. Meanwhile, Amanda takes a pic of Wolfie chewing on Mikey and she plans to use the evidence to kick the monsters’ collective ass out of town. As luck would have it, Wolfie has an appetite for phones and learns that phones are tasty whereas people are not tasty.
Our Take
“Boodle Loo” was boring, but “The Boy Who Cried Wolfie” at least introduced some fun new characters both in the story and in the video that’s shown. But, really, this show hasn’t made me laugh once since it has been back. The characters are bland, the premises are boring, and overall, it’s time this puppy gets put down.
My Love Affair with Marriage was great! I hope this gets enough of a release in the US for me to be able to go to it in theatres.
