Comics Review: Bravest Warriors #13

Spoilers!

The beginning of the story begins with a Warriors parody with Iron and the Elementals. How does it take 13 episodes to get that? Well, the Elementals all get soundly defeated, the Warriors tell their secret origin tales about their animal weapons. Danny traversed the desert, Beth went to Punch-Anon, Wallow walked into his room, and Chris gave the Star Tyrant a stern talking to. Then, they got robbed, went into action. Catbug and Impossibear were talking, and they told us that the stories were bold face lies, and were just stickers.

Booger removal now comes with a tutorial. And this is aptly demonstrated by Danny. First, we get the flick, and if that doesn’t work, use the pinch and roll. When that doesn’t work, go nuclear. That means, call in a bird, let it eat the booger.

This hasn’t happened very often with BW, but the mini story at the end of this issue was TERRIBLE. It wasn’t funny, and were you serious about the boogers? That isn’t very funny, unless you’re back in elementary school.

However, the far fetched stories of this issue were very humorous. The poisoned  Danny was awesome, and the Wallow story fit great by being the antithesis of the rest of the stories. You can definitely stop reading after the main story, and still feel very fulfilled.
