REVIEW: AQUA TV SHOW SHOW ‘SPACECADEUCE’
Spoilers Up In This Bitch Boi
Recurring characters. Fuck. Yes. It’s about time.
I mean, I can’t be the only one that feels that way. Aqua has some brilliant supporting characters outside of the main New Jersey residents, and God damn it I wanna see them. Not only are these characters written amazingly, but the voice actors behind them are spot on.
FEELS GOOD, FEELS SO GOOD. I just wanna wrap myself in that shit and stroke my fanboy broner til completion. Glorious completion.
Anyway, this ep of Aqua, which happens to be the season finale, brings back they homeys of Spacecataz (which, as a bit of side trivia, was almost its own stand alone show [besides the mini romp it had a few seasons back]) – and it did not disappoint. I mean honestly, as soon as I saw the preview for this ep had Oglethorpe and Emory, I knew I was going to enjoy it – those dudes never let me down.
Right, so review. I found this episode more enjoyable than the rest of this season so far but I didn’t actually laugh out loud at any point (or maybe once for a quick burst?), so it’s not going to crack into the 9’s – but – it still warmed the cockles of my heart in a way that only Aqua can. As a finale it did manage to leave me wanting more, so the creative team must know by now what the fans want and cleverly leveraged this for the end of the season because of that very reason.
That’s all jack. Catch you next season. I’mma go back and re-watch the old Spacecataz eps in the meantime.
THIS IS A BONG. AND THIS, IS HOW YOU HIT IT.
