Review: Annoying Orange “Fruitsy the Snowfruit”

The fruit look to be in a cabin in the woods (though not the Joss Whedon variety) and are gearing up for X-mas. Nerville sings and instantly ruins the episode LITERALLY in the first minute. Thankfully, he leaves and the fruit wanna have some fun for the holidays so they decide to bring a snow fruit to life (Jack MacBrayer) of whom is trying to come up with fun activities only for Orange to veto them and do what he wants. This snow fruit named ‘Fruitsy’ also has magic powers, so no matter what the fruit want to do he can make it 2x as fun. Unfortunately, Orange isn’t crazy about this guy, but its cool because Nerville comes back and lays down another shitty track. The fruit take off and seem to be enjoying this snow fruit’s company leaving Orange in the snow. Orange decides to confront the other fruit and most notably Fruitsy, but he does so with a bunch of snow monsters. Welp, turns out these guys wanna eat the fruit and so they chase them all over the place with their magic and whatnot. Thanks to Fruitsy the fruit are able to return to their cabin while Nerville gets attacked outside by the monsters. Orange and the gang decide to team together and save Nerville. Fruitsy comes up with a plan to destroy the snow monsters and it works leaving Fruitsy to take off without having to suffer through another Nerville shit single.
This isn’t the worst holiday special I’ve ever seen from Annoying Orange, but Nerville is just annoying as hell in this one. I honestly feel like he’s just in this show to constantly harass everyone into liking him, but it’s just not working for. Jack MacBrayer on the other hand was pretty great as Fruitsy and adds another name to his already glowing resume of animated shows of which he works on.
