NY TIMES DOES STORY ABOUT SPORTS CARTOONS
Recently, Richard Sandomir of the NY Times did an outstanding story about the dying art of sports cartoons. For those who don’t know sports cartoons are similar to political cartoons but with the satire being geared towards all the great stories in sports. To this day I’ve always been befuddled as to why sites like ESPN or Deadspin still don’t practice this. Adult Swim kinda does it with Aqua Teen’s Carl during football season they do Carl’s Picks but that’s probably not the same. Its really a great read and you can check it out here and help reminisce about one of the long lost art forms of Americana.
