Ed Helms Pacific Electric to present “Rudy” for Comedy Central
Ed Helms was said to be working on an animated series for NBC, but I guess that’s not happening anymore. So, I was delighted to learn from The Hollywood Reporter the other day that Helms’ Pacific Electric production company is getting ready to present an animated series to Comedy Central.
The name of the series is Rudy, and while I don’t think it has anything to do with the 1993 film of the same name, Comedy Central has been on a hell of a roll and the network loves looking at new shit. Next year the network is premiering Jeff and Some Aliens and Legends of Chamberlain Heights to go along with South Park and probably more TripTank.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
