That’s how excited I am to be getting back to FOOTBALL! Yep…FOOTBALL! No more DeflateGate, no more the Pats are cheaters, none of that shit. I mean, I can’t even remember an offseason where NOTHING football was really talked about leading into Week 1. Seriously, the NFL Draft went over like a fart in church. Anyone remember the first pick? I don’t…not without looking it up. Anyone remember the biggest trade to happen this offseason? How about free-agent pickup? If you don’t remember, don’t feel bad. That’s sports journalism failing you.
Another major news story from this offseason is the cancellation of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Fortunately, Carl’s picks didn’t get the axe, and we have some semblance of the show moving forward and we can have some fun. For week 1, Carl picked the Bills vs Colts game as his first game pick and here’s what he had to say:

Let’s break down both teams and see who I think is going to win:

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are my pick to win all of the AFC. The team made a fantastic pick up of Andre Johnson, whom gives the Colts a big body at the goal line to score touch downs which was probably the sore point of this team last season. Defense has me a little concerned, and if this comes down to the Bills and a 2 minute warning, could be a difference maker.

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills are a team in transition that has made a BUNCH of moves to make it a power team. Rex Ryan is the new coach, LeSean McCoy becomes a featured back, and this team is now scarier on Defense with the new coaching hire. Lots of question marks in the passing game. For starters, who the hell is Tyrod Taylor, and will Sammy Watkins and Percy Harvin be healthy enough to finish the game. I actually like the Bills this year in what has become a competitive AFC East. I think they finish third to a first place Pats and second place Dolphins.
