Artist Creates Out-of-this-World 3D Futurama Intro
My mind has been blown, and since most of the meth has worn off by now, I know it’s for realsies. Moscow-based artist Alexey Zakharov – a digital artist, animator, and architect – has brought the intro sequence of our beloved Futurama into the 21st 31st century with an unbelievable video rendering.
Zakharov used 3dsmax, Nuke, Photoshop, and After Effects software to create the breathtaking cityscape, which includes an appearance by the one-and-only Planet Express ship.
You seriously need to watch it at least once, and check out his additional Futurama artwork on Behance as well. Personally, it gave me chills, goosebumps, and the feeling of tiny bugs burrowing into my skin.
Okay, the last one might actually be the meth.
