Adult Swim Airs “Bushworld Adventures”…An Aussie Take On “Rick and Morty”

Oh, good.

Well, you kids wanted a Rick and Morty renewal…you kinda got one. Australian based producer Michael Cusack has teamed up with Adult Swim to air an Aussie take on the network’s Rick and Morty franchise called Bushworld Adventures. Similar to last year when Adult Swim marathoned a single episode of Rick and Morty S3, Adult Swim appears to be doing the same with the Bushworld Adventures as this shit appears to be going on all night. (Update 1230 am ET/PT: The five minute short started at 11 pm ET and aired on a continuous loop for about an hour showcasing commercials for the upcoming Adult Swim event and the app.)

The Bushworld Adventures is produced in association with Studio Yotta, the producers behind the recent Run the Jewelz video, and is written by famed producers PsychicPebble and Ollie Norwood (Trashtoons).

The premise of Bushworld Adventures is definitely a darker take on the show that you can check out here. There really isn’t a discernible plot, but it’s probably more off the block than even the proper series.
